Privacy
What this site tracks, and what it doesn't.
Analytics
GlockCollector.com uses Umami, a self-hosted, privacy-focused analytics tool that we run ourselves -- no third party ever sees this data. Umami's tracking script does not use cookies and does not collect any personally identifiable information. When enabled, it records only: the page viewed, the referring site (if any), browser and operating system, device type (desktop/mobile/tablet), and country-level location derived from your IP address -- your IP address itself is not stored. None of this is linked to your GlockCollector.com account, even if you're signed in.
Because the banner you may have seen lets you decline, no analytics script loads at all unless you click Accept. Your choice is remembered in your browser only (not on our servers) and you can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.
Error reports
When something on the site breaks, an automatic error report (the technical details of what failed -- not your username, email address or IP address) may be sent to an error-monitoring service so it can be fixed. This is for fixing bugs only and isn't used to track visitors.
Your account
If you create an account, we store what you'd expect for a collector registry: your username, email address, and whatever you choose to add to your profile, collection, or messages. That data is used to run the site's features (claiming Examples, messaging other members, and so on) and isn't sold or shared with advertisers.
This page is a plain-language summary, not a lawyer-reviewed legal policy. If you have specific privacy questions or concerns, reach out through the site's contact options.
